Details That Define
Craftsmanship is about more than skill—it’s about vision and care in every detail. From the initial design to the final touches, we approach each home with a commitment to creating spaces that feel refined, inviting, and effortlessly functional.
Timeless Appeal, Modern Living
Our designs strike a balance between timeless elegance and contemporary innovation. We stay ahead of evolving trends, integrating thoughtful features and styles that suit today’s lifestyles while standing the test of time. At Grand Communities, we don’t just build homes—we create environments where your life can thrive, blending expertise with an understanding of what makes a house truly a home.
Our
History

Our founder, Frank Mauro, began in the homebuilding industry in 1964, building homes one at a time, giving each the care and attention as if it were his own. Tony Mauro and Emilio Ronco, co-principles of the organization today, continue this tradition which has since become one of our operating principles.
When you’re buying a home, what matters most? Location, features and finishes are all extremely important. But when the search is over, your satisfaction comes down to quality. With Fairgate Homes, a family-operated homebuilder in the GTA, you’ll find that quality is never compromised.
GIVING
BACK
Fairgate Homes is a sponsor or volunteer for a number of charities or not-for-profit organizations, including Markham Stouffville Hospital, Sick Kids, Ride to Conquer Cancer, Stouffville Minor Hockey Association, Aurora Tigers, Stoufffville Strawberry Festival, The Able Network and the Stouffville Mayor Youth Fund. We live and build in these communities and wish to give back as much as possible.

Not only are we moving towards net-zero buildings (homes that produce more energy than they consume), but we have created a compliance package for our customers that is more beneficial in terms of efficiency and performance of the homes for the end user.

Customer
Experience
When it was time to downsize after eleven years in our first Fairgate home, we naturally chose to stay with the builder that had given us confidence. From choosing the models that suited our needs to the selection of finishes, we found everyone to be very helpful during the purchases and construction process. They answered all our questions, were able to make late changes to the plans and the homes were move in ready on the expected completion dates.”
